The electronic bypass key is designed for cranes applications in case of load limiter or load moment indicator failure, in according to EN 13000 and relative paragraphs 4.2.6.3.2, when a machine emergency maneuvering becomes necessary. For this instance, a by pass device has to be installed. The device is placed outside the cabin and provides to restart the machine movements for a pre-set time avoiding an endless use in such condition. SAFE KEY disposes of outputs for speed reduction (25% of the nominal value), for buzzer activation and for visual alarm . An independent circuit with black box/data logger functions provides to record automatically every key intervention and to store the CAN BUS data limiter data if the CAN BUS link is available. It is possible to download the stored data on laptops by a serial interface.
