ASA-CBX-DS
DEEP SEA CAN BUS ANGLE SENSOR
Product description
The ASA device has been expressly designed for applications as inclination measurement on moving machinery such as diggers, loaders, and drilling machines, i.e. in all those cases where a normal potentiometric pendulum or Hall-effect inclinometer, or anything mounted on moving suspensions undergoes unacceptable vibrations and shocks. The typical use of such kind of sensor is when booms or buckets are continuously or frequently exposed to immersion in salt water, mud or wet environments. The sensor used by ASA device is a twin-axis integrated accelerometer, with no mechanical moving part. This means high reliability and accuracy in any environment, no matter vibration, thermal shocks or wear. This kind of technology is widely used in automotive applications like air bags, stability controls and so on. It can be used to measure planarity (double axis) or single angle, in all range (360 ).
